为了及时鉴定微量元素肥料的施用对棉花增产效果,本站于1958年应用微量元素肥料对棉花进行根外追肥试验。试验应用的微量元素是硼酸、硫酸镁、硫酸锰、硫酸铜及高锰酸钾等5种,分作7个处理,于棉花生育期间在7月23日开始第一次根外喷施微量元素肥料,溶液浓度均用0.05%,至8月6日结束,计共先后喷3次。试验每次每亩用量为150斤,试验小区面积为0.04亩,重复5次。品种为岱字棉15号。
