As a leading material manufacturer, most of Bayer MaterialScience’s global plants will optimize their energy consumption. A proprietary energy management system developed by Bayer makes this a reality. Optimized control of the system now allows an average reduction in power consumption of a single plant in the production plant by one-tenth, while also significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
