This article describes a part of radionuclide standardization done by the International Bureau of Metrology (BIPM) in 1975. This work actually belongs to the so-called “traceability” category. As early as 1911, the International Bureau of Weights was considered a suitable place to preserve the first international benchmark of activity. However, the International Bureau of Weights did not participate in ionizing radiation measurements until after 50 years. In order to complete the task of establishing and maintaining the harmonization of international measurements, improving the accuracy of tasks and assisting laboratories in various countries, BIPM regularly organizes international comparisons of radiological inclusion with the following results.
