目前,林业生态工程设计中一项很重要的内容就是造林树种的选择,造林树种选择的是否恰当,是决定造林工程成功与否的关键因素。如果造林树种选择的好,其成活率就高,生长速度也快,郁闭早,相对的产量也很高。反之,则会使造林工程达不到理想的效果,在浪费资金与工时的同时,也浪费了种苗,这种情况下,即便树种成活,林木也会因长期生长不良而不易成材,长此以往,林地根本起不到应有的防护及美化作用。文章作者对林业工程造林树种的选择进行详细分析,从而指出一系列树种选择方式。
