拉斯帕尔马斯(Las Palmas),是北大西洋加那利群岛的首府和最大港市,位于大加那利群岛东北岸,人口35万,1948年沦为西班牙殖民地。拉斯帕尔马斯濒临西非沿岸的优良渔场,气候温和,盛产蔬菜和水果,物产丰富,物价低廉,海空交通发达,因此吸引了大量的各国渔船,成为重要的渔港。1983年有5.000多艘渔船进港停泊。进港的外国渔船,主要是在西非沿海捕鱼的日本、苏联、南朝鲜和我国台湾省的渔轮。其中大部分是600~1800马力的单拖渔轮,还有少量的金枪鱼围、钓渔船。船上一般装有冷冻设备、卫星导航、通讯系统和彩色鱼探仪等。
Las Palmas, the capital and largest port city of the North Atlantic Canary Islands, has a population of 350,000 and was reduced to a Spanish colony in 1948 on the northeastern coast of the Gran Canaria. Las Palmas is an excellent fishing ground on the coast of West Africa. With its mild climate, abundant vegetables and fruits, abundant resources, low prices and developed sea and air traffic, Las Palmas attracts a large number of fishing vessels from all over the world and becomes an important fishing port. In 1983 there were more than 5.000 fishing vessels moored to the harbor. Foreign fishing vessels entering Hong Kong are mainly fishing vessels of Japan, the Soviet Union, South Korea and Taiwan Province of China which are fishing off the coasts of West Africa. Most of them are 600 to 1800 horsepower single-trailer fishing vessels, there are a small amount of tuna Wai, fishing boats. The ship is generally equipped with refrigeration equipment, satellite navigation, communication systems and color fish finder and so on.
