八十年代以来,把电子计算机应用到柴油机上,利用电子计算机控制柴油发动机一直是个热门课题。现在世界上生产发动机的各大厂家都在试验由斯坦内达因公司和罗伯特·波许公司研制的微处理机控制的柴油机燃油喷射系统。图示是该燃油喷射系统的主要部件。装上了电子计算机的柴油机与普通的柴油机不同。这种发动机能够“自己了解自己,自己管理自己。”就是说微处理机通过传感器和执行机构,具有看管发动机的功能。
Since the 1980s, the application of electronic computers to diesel engines and the use of electronic computers to control diesel engines has been a hot topic. The world’s leading manufacturers of engines are now experimenting with microprocessor-controlled diesel fuel injection systems developed by Stan Nida and Robert Bosch. The illustration is the main part of the fuel injection system. The diesel engine fitted with a computer differs from a normal diesel engine. The engine is able to “understand yourself and manage it yourself.” That is, microprocessors, through sensors and actuators, have the power to look after the engine.
