目前普遍认为硒的主要功能是通过硒谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(SeGSHPx)起着抗氧化剂的作用。有关硒和SeGSHPx在生理功能方面的关系,文献中较多的是从营养学的角度讨论食物补充硒对缺硒动物SeGSHPx活性的影响。为了探讨硒对正常动物SeGSHPx活性的影响,我们观察了给小鼠较大剂量硒酸钠后血浆、肝、脾丙二醛(MDA)含量和SeGSHPx活性的变化。
It is generally accepted that the main function of selenium is to act as an antioxidant through selenium glutathione peroxidase (SeGSHPx). Concerning the relationship between selenium and SeGSHPx in physiological functions, the literature more often discusses the effect of dietary supplementation of selenium on SeGSHPx activity in selenium-deficient animals from a nutritional point of view. In order to investigate the effect of selenium on the activity of SeGSHPx in normal animals, we observed the changes of plasma, liver and spleen MDA content and SeGSHPx activity after the mice were given larger doses of sodium selenate.
