The North Atlantic National Laboratory (PNNL) developed the strongest titanium alloy by controlling the arrangement of atoms. It is reported that the new material than the current market all the strength of titanium increased 10% to 15%. Six years ago, researchers at the Northwest National Laboratory in the Atlantic developed the Ti-185 alloy, which is very high strength and defect-free. The process has since been used by ADMA, a collaborative research unit that is a PNNL partner and sells advanced materials to the aerospace and other industries. However, the team wanted to make alloys of higher strength.
