延安中共中央党校的学员大半是久经沙场的军事指挥员和出入虎穴的党的地下工作者,还有一些从沦陷区和大后方来的知识分子,大家几乎都穿着灰色的人民装,少数也有穿蓝色的,穿土黄色军装也有,可是不多。从服装上看,很难看出每个学员是干什么的,但是一部有一位学员却令人注目,倒不是他的服装和别人有什么不同,而是他左手经常挟一个黑色牛皮公文包,这在当时延安是少有的。他服装整洁,面带微笑,态度谦和,浓眉下面架着一副眼镜,神采奕奕,举止潇洒。他的学者风度吸引了我的注意。大概是金肇野同志介绍的吧,我们相识了。他就是曾在北平中国大学教过中国文学史和文字学的齐燕铭同志。 Most of the students in the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC in Yanan were mostly field-controlled military commanders and underground workers in the party that ventured to and from the tiger’s cave.
