沿中天山南缘缝合带东西向延伸约200km的西天山高压变质带是塔里木板块和伊犁中天山板块古生代碰撞造山作用的产物,多年来为许多学者所关注。笔者在执行国家自然科学基金(49632240)和国家“九五”重点科技攻关(969150301)联合资助的“西天山高压一超高压变质带变质作用与构造演化关系”项目过程中,取得如下初步进展。
The West Tianshan high-pressure metamorphic belt extending along the east-west direction of the suture zone along the southern margin of the Central Tianshan Mountains is a product of the Paleozoic collision orogeny of the Tarim plate and the Tiantaishan plate of the Ili region and has been the focus of many scholars for many years. The author made the following preliminary progress in the project of “the relationship between the metamorphism and tectonic evolution of the UHP-UHPM metamorphic belt in the western Tianshan Mountains” jointly funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (49632240) and the key scientific and technological project of the Ninth Five-Year Plan of the PRC (969150301).
