The ability to read, tell and design landscapes is one of the greatest talents of mankind. This ability enables mankind to inhabit a vast environment - from warm savannahs to cool, canopy forests to cold, broad tundra. As a form of language, landscape is not only a tool of survival but also a medium of art. The language of the landscape allows us to learn the wisdom of our ancestors and convey the message to future generations. The various elements of the landscape combine to form the meaning of the landscape. Landscape writers establish effective and ingenious communication through the use of rhetoric and metaphor. Humans have always understood the language of landscapes, but their use now tends to be fragmented, many of which have even been forgotten. Missing, false or out of context led to unclear landscape expressions, filled with inexplicable, dysfunctional, fragmented dialogue, and incomplete storyline. Therefore, it is necessary for us to relearn and renew the language of the landscape as a way to tell about the new wisdom in urban and rural life.
