目前,在全苏锰矿选矿厂内,积存着0.5—0mm的细粒级锰矿泥,大约有300—400万t。但在工业生产中,采用泡沫分选与浮选工艺不能明显降低锰的损失。其主要原因是浮选粒度下限为0.02mm,泡沫分选粒度下限为0.16mm。另外,采用传统的螺旋分级机:水力旋流器、径向浓缩机等设备处理入选前的泥浆效率低。致使20~25%的锰无法回收。
At present, in the whole Soviet Union manganese ore beneficiation plant, the accumulation of 0.5-0mm fine grade manganese ore, about 300-400 million t.
