地震仪器的直流脉冲标定是监视地震仪器工作正常与否的最简易而行之有效的办法之一。通过对记录脉冲波形分析,我们可以掌握仪器所处的工作状况;对仪器在长期工作下参数稳定性也有一个较全面了解,并可根据它进行一些仪器性能方面的研究。若仪器有故障,可通过直流脉冲标定及时发现,并从记录到的脉冲波形中可初步判断故障的部位,以便及时排除,确保正常运转。所以,有人把直流脉冲标定线路称为检查测试线路,简称检测线路。
