举世瞩目的宝成铁路复线、成昆电气化改造工程,经铁道部第二勘测设计院设计人员和建设单位近八年的艰苦奋战,已于12月30日实现四川境内正线开通。宝成复线是我国第一条在单线电气化铁路上增建的电气化Ⅱ线;成昆电化改造是在我国最艰险的山区的建设工程,两线的特点是沿线地质复杂,山高水险,施工难度大。完成复线于1992年7月开工,成昆电化于1993年3月开工。
