Subcutaneous burial of levonorgestrel 18 (LNG) has been successfully used in clinical trials with the advantages of low conception rate, long duration and rapid recovery of fecundity after removal. LNG subcutaneous burial system is composed of six silicone rubber capsules, containing LNG. Capsule length 34mm, both ends sealed with silicone rubber adhesive A. During the second to sixth years of use, an average of 30 μg of LNG was released daily to the body, equivalent to the oral bolus dose. In this paper, we compare the clinical data of norplant ~ (TM) (trade name of subcutaneously LN-G) system group with that of Cu-I intrauterine device (TCu200IUD), and conduct a cross-sectional study of various clinical chemistry parameters.
