吃“编辑”饭已二十余载,然仍很难一言说清这碗饭的滋味到底如何。有时觉得这碗饭平平淡淡,却又似有不少回味可寻;有时觉得酸甜苦辣咸五味俱全,却又似无甚刺激可言。要不是两年前一部电视剧《编辑部的故事》里的众编辑一一亮相,恐怕十二亿中国人中大概还有不少人不知道竟还有靠耍嘴皮、弄笔杆子吃“编辑”饭的人吧!恰巧那时我刚迁入别人套出的旧居,新邻居偶尔得知我与“李东宝”、“余得利”、“牛大姐”等同类,便不时朝我投来异样的目光。幸好我非谢顶之外貌,也没油嘴滑舌之习惯,否则非被冠以“李东宝”或“余得利”之雅号了。
