为了研究英语专业本科生译者在英译汉时使用翻译策略差异,该研究运用有声思维法,以新疆师范大学英语专业四年级的十名学生为研究对象,根据他们的译文和有声思维报告(TAPs)将其分为高分组和低分组。该研究对收集到的TAPS语料进行编码,以提取包含在受试者翻译过程中的翻译策略成分。该研究发现高低分组都使用了Kiraly所提出的翻译策略,但低分组学生使用较多的局部策略,比如局部搜索与选择等;高分组学生更多使用推理和论证,文本语境化等总体策略。
In order to study the difference of translation strategies used by translators of English majors in English to Chinese translation, the study uses the method of thinking of voices to study the ten students in the fourth grade of English majors in Xinjiang Normal University. Based on their translations and the report of thinking in voices TAPs) to classify them into high and low groups. The study encoded the collected TAPS corpus to extract the translation strategy components contained in the subject’s translation process. The study found that both high and low groups used the translation strategy proposed by Kiraly, but low-group students used more local strategies such as local search and selection; higher-group students used more general reasoning and argumentation, text contextualization and other strategies .
