1989年以来,先后从浙江临安、开化及湖南等地引进杉木优良家系25个,进行杉木少株小区试验(随机区组设计)和多株小区试验(对比法设计),并采用当地一般造林苗木和第1.5代良种苗作为试验对照,通过多年试验和观测统计分析,筛选出显著优于对照并适于本地区生长的51、37、55等11个平均遗传增益达43.15%的优良家系(其中51号家系遗传增益高达73.75%),并估算树高、胸径和村积的家系平均遗传力分别为43.82%、43.14%、42.12%,同时选出4棵优树用于建立采穗圃。
