Inquiry teaching is an important achievement in the reform and development of modern education and an important way under the guidance of the new basic education theory to realize the goal of “giving vitality to the classroom”. Chemistry experiments are important ways to learn chemistry knowledge, cultivate innovative thinking, and develop research ability. In 2011, the full-time compulsory education chemistry curriculum standard (experimental draft) formulated by the Ministry of Education proposed that the students’ innovative spirit and practical ability should be cultivated in the research practice of “doing science”. Under the guidance of this new curriculum concept, inquiry chemistry experiment teaching has become an important direction of chemistry experiment teaching reform.
