本文通过梳理古代典籍,多角度追溯中国古人对“木”的认知,揭示出“木”在中华农业文明产生和发展过程中起到的关键作用。先民们与“木”长期互动,对其感恩戴德,并通过理性思维,总结出木以“生”为核心的多种特质,用其比附人伦道德,以“木德”的形式浓缩在五行这一宇宙图式中,深刻地影响着人们的价值判断,进而决定了中国古代对木构建筑的长期青睐。 This paper traces the cognition of the ancient Chinese to “Mu” by multi-angle through combing the ancient texts and reveals the key role played by “Mu” in the emergence and development of China's agricultural civilization. For a long time, the ancestors had been interacting with wood for a long time, grateful for their demeanor, and through rational thinking, they summed up many qualities centered on wood and life, The enrichment of the five elements in this cosmic schema profoundly affects people's value judgments, which in turn determines the long-term favor of wooden architecture in ancient China.
