In road traffic design systems, road traffic signs play an important role in transmitting information to drivers and other road users. Its role is to provide a systematic way for road users, especially drivers, to engage drivers in adjusting their own contingencies when necessary to adapt to possible events. In this study, an experimental roadblock was used to evaluate the driver’s memory of road signs, driver behavior, and the relationship between adjustment and control functions by asking the driver for memory of traffic signals, and to evaluate the value of road traffic signals to driver behavior.
