思辨能力培养是高等教育人才培养的核心目标之一。写作是思辨能力的集中体现,英语写作教学与英语专业学生思辨能力的培养息息相关。然而长期以来,我国英语写作教学偏重语言技能训练,忽视了对思维能力的培养。从根本上讲,思维与语言的脱节既不利于学生写作水平的提高,又不能满足高素质英语人才的培养。思辨能力的培养应融入英语写作教学的各个环节。本文探索通过写作任务的设计与执行在提高学生写作能力的同时,培养学生思辨能力。
The cultivation of speculative ability is one of the core goals of talent training in higher education. Writing is the embodiment of the ability of thinking. English writing teaching is closely related to the cultivation of students’ professional ability of thinking in English. However, for a long time, the teaching of English writing in our country has emphasized the training of language skills and neglected the cultivation of thinking ability. Fundamentally speaking, the disconnect between thinking and language is not conducive to raising the level of writing students, but also can not meet the cultivation of high-quality English talents. The cultivation of speculative ability should be integrated into all aspects of English writing teaching. This paper explores how to cultivate students ’ability to think critically while improving students’ writing ability through the design and implementation of writing tasks.
