2012年伦敦奥运会已进入倒计时阶段,一组由12名自行车爱好者组成的奥运自行车探险队于2012年2月27日自北京出发骑行至伦敦,以连结两个奥运城市。这次自行车探险旨在弘扬奥运精神,提升多文化交流,促进世界和平,并且倡导健康的生活方式。这12名自行车爱好者中有6位来自波兰,其他成员分别来自立陶宛、新西兰、瑞典等国家。这些自行车爱好者来自各行各业,他们中有医生、剧作家和退伍军人,年纪最大的67岁,平均年龄约60岁。该活动得到了波兰驻华使馆和丹麦驻华使馆的支持。本刊记者参加了在波兰驻华使馆举办的欢送仪式。
The 2012 Olympic Games in London have entered the countdown phase. A group of 12 bicycle enthusiasts from the Beijing Olympic Biking Expedition set out from Beijing on February 27, 2012 to London to link the two Olympic cities. This bike excursion aims to promote the Olympic spirit, enhance multicultural exchanges, promote world peace and advocate a healthy lifestyle. Six of the 12 bicycle enthusiasts are from Poland and the rest are from Lithuania, New Zealand, Sweden and other countries. These bicycle enthusiasts come from all walks of life. Among them are doctors, playwrights and veterans. The oldest 67 years old, with an average age of about 60 years old. The event received the support of the Polish Embassy in China and the Danish Embassy in China. Our correspondents participated in the farewell ceremony hosted by the Polish Embassy in China.
