Our province is a highly endemic area of soil-originated nematodes. Since the province investigated the infection rate of hookworms in 30 counties and cities[1] (25,01%) in 1958, it has undergone several general surveys, excrement management, the use of hookworm disease to spread the rest season, and repeated inspections and treatment of infectious sources. Controlling the epidemic of hookworm disease and the prevention and control of group chemotherapy combined with health education throughout the province since 1992, will now be completed.
