研制成功一种铝粉挤压复合材料(APMC)摩托车发动机气缸套。此材料为含有Al-17Si-5Fe-3.5Cu-1Mg-0.5Mn合金、细微球形氧化铝颗粒和细石墨粉添加剂的快速固化粉末。这种材料具有极好的耐磨性,与活塞和活塞环上所用的灰铸铁相当。研讨了在铝基体中添加均匀分布的细微氧化铝颗粒和石墨粉来改善摩擦学特性。在挤压过程中加热时,此材料的硬度不会降低,比传统铸铝合金(如A390)优越。这种合金还具有良好的切削加工性。刀具的磨损几乎与加工传统灰铸铁相同。此复合材料已用于车用发动机的气缸套上。
Developed an aluminum powder extrusion composite (APMC) motorcycle engine cylinder liner. This material is a rapidly setting powder containing Al-17Si-5Fe-3.5Cu-1Mg-0.5Mn alloy, fine spherical alumina particles, and fine graphite additive. This material has excellent wear resistance, comparable to the gray cast iron used on pistons and piston rings. The addition of uniformly distributed fine alumina particles and graphite powder to the aluminum matrix to improve the tribological properties was discussed. When heated during extrusion, the material will not decrease in hardness and is superior to conventional cast aluminum alloys such as the A390. This alloy also has good machinability. Tool wear is almost the same as machining traditional gray cast iron. This composite has been used on the cylinder liner of automotive engines.
