采用垂直燃烧和极限氧指数两种测试技术,研究了不同种类和不同含量氢氧化镧对聚丙烯阻燃性能的影响。实验结果表明,与不添加氢氧化镧的空白试样相比,添加不同种类氢氧化镧试样的垂直燃烧等级明显改善,都由原来的V2级提高到UL-94 V0级,极限氧指数由原来的27提高到30左右,增加了3个单位左右,最多的增加了4.5个单位。综合垂直燃烧和极限氧指数两项指标,实验确定氢氧化镧的最适宜添加量为1.0%(质量分数)。通过热重分析,初步探讨了氢氧化镧阻燃材料的阻燃机理。
The effects of different types and contents of lanthanum hydroxide on the flame retardancy of polypropylene were studied by using vertical combustion and limiting oxygen index. The experimental results show that compared with the blank samples without adding lanthanum hydroxide, the vertical combustion grades with different types of lanthanum hydroxide added significantly improve, from the original V2 grade to UL-94 V0 grade, the limiting oxygen index The original 27 increased to 30 or so, an increase of about 3 units, the largest increase of 4.5 units. Combining the two indexes of vertical combustion and limiting oxygen index, the optimum dosage of lanthanum hydroxide was 1.0% (mass fraction). Through the thermogravimetric analysis, the flame retardant mechanism of lanthanum hydroxide flame retardant materials was preliminarily discussed.
