钱江新城自2001年杭州总体规划确定“城市东扩”的发展战略后,房价一路飞升,成为杭州新兴的贵族板块,目前房价水平直逼市中心黄金地段。钱江新城从较早推出的赞成·海月花园,1998年销售价格在3000元,平方米左右,至今,该板块的房价已经突破万元以上,尤其是江景房。钱江新城区块是杭州未来的中央商务区,其真正的住宅用地并不多,钱江新城的住宅用地总面积200多万平方米,至今为止,该区域共推出住宅用地130万平方米。今年共推出26万平方米住宅用地。
