韭荣(Allinm tuberosum)属百合科,叶质柔嫩,气味芳香,是广大城乡人民最喜爱的一种宿根性蔬菜。安庆市韭菜的栽培面积約五百余亩,占郊区蔬菜生产总面积的6%,栽培历史达百年之久。在长期精心栽培的过程中,菜农选育了适应本地风土的优良品种,創造了許多精巧的栽培方式,获得了种类繁多、质地不同的韭菜产品。其中韭白的总产量在秋季和初冬仅次于青韭,但品質的优良則为青韭所不及。它的栽培,是在一定的时期內,将韭菜进行培土軟化而成。現将其栽培經驗介紹如下。1.培养时期:培养韭白一般都在秋季和初冬。这时本地区气候凉爽,不仅适宜韭菜的生长,而且經培土后,根部不致因气温过高而腐烂。在栽培韭白较多的几个蔬菜大队,都在9月中旬至下旬进行培土软化工作。
