“孝”是中华民族传统美德之一,是每个人所应具备的基本品德。无论是在古代还是现代,孝一直被人们所传颂。为了更好地教导和约束民众的品德行为,古代统治者让民众学习《孝经》以便使民众明白要道的意义所在。通过探求《孝经》中《广要道章》的内涵以及主旨,进一步了解古代思想政治教育的内容和教导途径,从而得到对当代思想政治教育的启示。
“Filial piety ” is one of the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, and is the basic morality everyone should have. Filial piety has always been praised by people both in ancient times and in modern times. In order to better teach and constrain people’s moral behavior, the ancient rulers let the people learn the “Filial Piety” in order to make the people understand the significance of the truth. Through the exploration of the connotation and the main purpose of “wide-ranging Daozhang” in “Book of Filial Piety”, we can further understand the content and teaching methods of ancient ideological and political education so as to gain enlightenment on contemporary ideological and political education.
