In Mothers Night, Kurt Vonnegut focused on the topic of paranoia and successfully exposed the chaotic spirit of the people who were the victims of the consequences of a government plot and absurd history. The dissertation begins with careful reading of the text, and then studies the historical background at that time to discuss the relationship between the suspicious and postmodern conditions, the origin of suspicion, the meanings of the suspicion and the meaning of reading. The study of the topic of paranoia itself is of great importance for understanding the entire postmodern writing.
