Singapore plans to invest and develop industrial zone in Myanmar According to a foreign press report, an international consortium led by the Singapore government signed a cooperation agreement with the Burmese government at the end of June this year to build a 12-square-kilometer industrial zone and wharf on the outskirts of Yangon . The government of Myanmar will hold a 40% stake in the project, providing Thanlpo-Kya, about 18 km southeast of Yangon.
