Objective To investigate the effect of oxycodone hydrochloride in combination with sodium aescinate on the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in patients with liver cancer. Methods Fifty-two patients with hepatocellular carcinoma admitted from August 2013 to February 2016 in Nanyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were enrolled. All patients were treated with TACE. According to the random number table, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 26 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with oxycodone hydrochloride sustained-release tablets after TACE, and on the basis of this, the observation group was treated with sodium aescinate. The postoperative adverse reactions of the two groups were statistically analyzed. The pain scores on the 1st, 3rd, 5th day and the morphine injection doses at 0 ~ 24 h, 0 ~ 72 h and 0 ~ 120 h after the treatment were compared. Results The total pain relief rate in the observation group was 96.15% (25/26), which was not significantly different from that in the control group (88.46%, 23/26) (P> 0.05) , Compared with the control group, morphine injection in the observation group were less, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); two groups compared to the incidence of nausea and vomiting, the observation group 34.62% (9/26) lower than the control group 61.54 % (16/26), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions The combination of oxycodone hydrochloride and sodium aescinate after TACE in patients with liver cancer has more significant analgesic effect, which can effectively reduce the dose of morphine and reduce the gastrointestinal reaction, which is of great significance in clinical treatment.
