1 Introduction Low power, low cost, small size and light weight are the basic requirements of law enforcement imaging infrared cameras. This article describes a non-cryogenic infrared camera based on an amorphous silicon microbolometer developed by Raytheon Commercial Infrared Corporation of the United States.
