在中国古典文艺系统中 ,由中国早期的绘画艺术所体现和代表的应物象形、写实性、再现性、客体性的美学观念 ,与中国古典文艺美学思想的基本原则即抒情咏志、写意性、表现性、主体性的美学观念是分道扬镳的。中国古典绘画美学观念向中国古典文艺美学基本原则的归属与定位 ,即从“应物象形”(存形 )到“抒情咏志”(写意 ) ,乃是中国古典绘画艺术及其美学观念发展到东晋时才产生的现象 ,并由此而造就了山水画的兴起
