宋代苏轼在《东坡杂记》中,谈到养生之道时曾指出:“吾有一法,常自珍之。每食已,辄以浓茶漱口,烦腻即去而脾胃不知。凡肉之在齿间者,得茶浸漱之,乃消缩,不觉脱去,不烦刺挑也,而齿便漱濯,缘此渐坚密,蠹病自已,然卒用中下茶。”这段文字,是苏东坡自己的经验实录,不但翔实可靠,而且说明了很多问题。一是挑牙不是好习惯,弊病甚多;二是饮茶可以坚齿,防龋(蠹);三是“中下茶”(即低档茶)的防龋作用较强。这都是符合科学道理的。 茶叶为什么有防龋作用呢?这主要是茶叶中氟的作用。由于氟离子具有取代牙齿中羟磷灰石的羟基的能力,形成牙齿组织的基本成分氟磷灰石,使牙齿光滑
