Rereading the “Communist Manifesto” at the turn of the century can not help but remind me of Engels’ answer to the remark made by Zhu Canetpa, the Italian Socialist, about the basic idea of the future socialist era a year before his death. On January 3, 1894, Zhu Canet asked Engels to find an inscription in the “New Age” of the weekly magazine published in Geneva in March 1894, and to use the short words to describe the future.
