雷竹是一种特优的食用笋竹种,其笋具有味鲜甘、脆嫩、营养丰富等特点,而且上市早,每年二月鲜笋开始应市。易种植,效益好,一般二支笋有500克,大的笋单支达600～700克,我地试种667米~2(1亩)产创1725.4公斤的记录,以市价每500克5元计算,667米~2产值即达1.7万余元。冬季正值雷竹休眠期,竹鞭养分多,栽后成活率高,竹鞭芽眼也能萌笋生长,所以提倡冬季栽竹。在具体操作时应注意如下几点:
