洪门致公堂曾经与孙中山关系密切,对孙中山的革命事业贡献良多。但是,在孙中山当上临时大总统后,致公堂因在国内立案事与孙中山渐生矛盾,关系愈趋愈远,与孙中山在政治上的死敌陈炯明则日趋接近。1925年10月,中国致公党成立,陈炯明出任致公党总理,直至1933年去世,其间对致公党多有谋划。陈炯明对致公党的影响,在其生前死后都显而易见。 Hongmenzhi Gongtang once had a close relationship with Sun Yat-sen and contributed a lot to Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary cause. However, after Sun Yat-sen became the provisional president, his relationship with Sun Yat-sen became more and more far because of the domestic legislation and Sun Yat-sen’s political rival Chen Jiongming became closer. In October 1925, the Chinese Guild Party was established. Chen Jiongming assumed the office of the prime minister of the KDP, until his death in 1933, during which he planned more for the KDP. The impact of Chen Jiongming on the K’ung-pao party is obvious after his death.
