顾渚紫笋茶属绿茶类,产于浙江省长兴县顾渚山一带。顾渚紫笋茶又名湖州紫笋、长兴紫笋,为恢复历史名茶,首创于唐代,为当时著名贡茶,1978年恢复生产。顾渚山是唐代重要贡茶产地,唐大历五年(公元770年)开始建立贡茶院,至唐会昌年间(公元841~846年),每年贡茶数量高达一万八千多斤。因此顾渚山贡茶工场制茶工匠多达千余人,采茶工竟达三万余人,劳累一个月左右,方可造毕。每年清明节前必须制造完成,快马加鞭运至长安,要赶上皇宫每年举办的“清明茶宴”。唐代诗人张文规曾
