众所周知,采用价廉可靠的V.32或V.32bis调制解调器可以满足数据传送的要求,其数据传输速度为14400bps。当你采用新型的V.Fast Class(V.FC)调制解调器时,略微增加价格,速度就可以提高一倍,即28800bps。如果再增加数据压缩和差错校正,那么在话路连接畅通、数据采用高倍压缩的情况下,V.Fast Class调制解调器的有效通过率可提高到115200bps。这相当于每秒至少传送11000个字符,或者说传送一个1MB的文本文件的时间不超过35秒。
As we all know, the use of inexpensive V.32 or V.32bis modem to meet the data transfer requirements, the data transfer speed of 14400bps. When you adopt the new V.Fast Class (V.FC) modem, slightly increase the price, you can double the speed, that is, 28800bps. With the addition of data compression and error correction, the effective throughput of V.Fast Class modems can be increased to 115200bps with smooth road connections and high data compression. This is equivalent to sending at least 11,000 characters per second, or less than 35 seconds for sending a 1MB text file.
