From August to September 2007, Luoyang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology unearthed a Warring States Grave in the south of Liaoning Road and east of Laixin Road. The cemetery is 90 meters long from east to west and 30 meters wide from north to south. A total of 52 burials were cleared up in the late Warring States Period. Most of these tombs are preserved in full scale and are not large in size. The depth of the openings is 4.8 to 5 meters above the surface and there is no breaking phenomenon between them. All tombs are centered on two sets of medium-sized tombs, forming two relatively independent distribution areas. This kind of center grave as the main body, and other tombs buried in the surrounding ethnic group found in Luoyang area for the first time is the first discovery for our understanding of the Central Plains Warring States period burial system of small and medium-sized tombs, burial customs provided important information.
