The biggest feature of those engaged in economic reports is that they like to “counter” with the figures. There are two sets of figures at hand. One group is the information provided by the relevant departments: In 1995, during the prime-time advertising auction of China Central Television, 93 companies submitted bids, and Shandong Distillery won 20.97 million yuan; in the second auction in 1996, 134 companies submitted bids. Another winery in Shandong won 66.66 million yuan. By the time of the third bid in 1997, there were 198 bidding companies. The result was a bid price of 320 million yuan and won the second time. Within two years, the price of “standard king” has increased by 9 times, and the number of bidders has increased by 93.
