Metallurgical Fog (MFF), formerly known as Brass Castor Heat, was reported in this paper as a result of the thermal outbreak of metal smoke caused by the cutting of copper tubing with electric torches in a closed, airtight, non-ventilated room. February 1979 Construction Company Contracts An electric utility company to replace a cooling tube in a vapor condenser, which is about 45,000 cubic feet and is completely enclosed by a metal shell, cutting a portal-like entrance to the shell. February 9 workers Day, night shifts with power saw cooling tube, the next morning and evening switched to electric torch (carbon gas) cutting. Saw with electric saw cooling tube were not affected. Twelve of the 26 people who switch to welding guns were involved in the disease. Workers do not wear respirators. Latency (from the beginning with the first appearance of a torch) arithmetic mean median of 5 hours, the range of 1 to 10 hours. Course of disease (refers to the symptoms began to completely disappear) 7-120 hours, calculated according to 21, the average duration
