In November 2010, there was an endless stream of news about basic research and independent innovation. Two of these news have become the focus of attention worldwide. First, on November 8, the European Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which aimed to explore the origin of the universe, successfully completed the experiment to create a mini version of the Big Bang. Perhaps in the near future, scientists will be able to answer questions such as “how the universe was created, what the universe was before, and what was beyond the universe.” It is reported that about 7,000 scientists and engineers from more than 80 countries and regions involved in the construction of a large Hadron Collider, the construction cost of up to 3.76 billion euros. In China, more than 20 scientists also participated in the “Large Hadron Collider” project.
