马铃薯种薯见光催芽是国内外广泛利用的先进技术。日本叫“浴光芽”,苏联叫“春化”,我国叫晒种。种薯放在阳光下,表皮逐渐变绿,芽的伸长受到抑制,节间显著缩短变粗,易形成短壮芽,有时甚至能长出发达的小叶。芽的基部形成大量不定根原基。皮层附近能合成大量的抗坏血酸、生长素和赤霉素等生物激素,从而促进了萌芽。幼苗根系发达,苗齐苗壮,生长极为旺盛。同时能促进早热。一般比未进行见光处理的种薯增产10~25%。
