气压传动技术,简称气动技术。它以压缩空气为动力源驱动和控制各种机械和设备的动作。因此气动技术主要内容包括两个方面:传动技术和控制技术。气动技术与液压传动技术在许多方面有相同之处,所以有时把两者放在一起统称为流体传动与控制技术。目前,气动技术在我国工业、农业及国防各个领域中,已逐渐与液压、机械电气和电子等技术一起作为自动化的一种手段互为补充应用。
