中国科学院力学研究所白以龙研究员及其课题组在科学基金资助下,研究了热塑剪切带及其对韧性断裂的影响,研究了冲击损伤累积演化的过程。在实验研究方面,研制成卧式和立式扭转Hopkinson杆装置,可调节应力波脉宽,并实现了单脉冲加载条件。有一套设备已安装在英国Reading大学,得到英国学者好评。并由英国皇家学会安排向英国女皇展出。
Under the support of the Science Foundation, researchers and their research team at the Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, studied the influence of the thermoplastic shear zone on the ductile fracture and studied the cumulative evolution of impact damage. In the experimental research, the horizontal and vertical torsion Hopkinson rod devices were developed to adjust the stress wave pulse width and realize the single-pulse loading condition. A set of equipment has been installed at Reading University in the United Kingdom, received by British scholars. Arranged by the Royal Society to be exhibited to the Queen of England.
