Wild cucumber Tomato is rich in variation and has many fine traits. In this study, 433 cucumber tomato genetic resources collected from different regions of the world were phenotyped and analyzed for genetic diversity. The phenotypic identification showed that about 14% of the 433 collected gooseberries were cherry tomatoes and about 22% of the 370 typical gooseberry tomatoes had different degrees of separation. The analysis of population variation showed that the coefficients of variation among different traits were quite different, and the variation coefficient of stigma was the highest (56.716%). The number of petals was genetically stable with the smallest coefficient of variation of 2.082%. Correlation analysis showed that there were significant correlations among multiple traits The cluster analysis of cucumber tomato was divided into two groups by phenotypic and genotypic data clustering. The principal component analysis showed that the rate of fruit set, fruit weight and soluble solid had a greater contribution to the variation. The results will lay a solid foundation for genetic improvement of tomato cultivars using gooseberry.
