在人工控制的温度条件下研究了采种温度对籽瓜种子生活力的影响，结果表明４５～５５℃的干燥温度不影响籽瓜种子的生活力；但２℃的低温会显著降低籽瓜种子的生活力，而遭遇０℃及其以下低温２ｈ以上就会使籽瓜种子失去种用价值。对不同年份采收的种子进行的发芽试验表明，籽瓜种子的生活力随贮藏年限的延长而降低，黑籽籽瓜种子的有效贮藏期限约为２～３ａ，红籽籽瓜种子的有效贮藏期限为４～５ａ。
The results showed that the drying temperature of 45 ~ 55 ℃ did not affect the viability of seed-gourd seeds. However, the low temperature of 2 ℃ could significantly reduce the viability of seed-gourd seeds, Encounter 0 ℃ and below the low temperature 2h above seeds will lose seed value. Germination tests on seeds harvested in different years showed that the viability of seed-melon seeds decreased with the extension of storage life, the effective storage period of seed of black-seeded melon was about 2 ~ 3a, and the effective storage period of red-seed watermelon seeds was 4 ~ 5a.
