Brassinolide (1) is the steroid potent plant growth regulator first reported by Grove et al. In 1979, and its use in chemistry, biology and farmland has attracted much attention (Cutler Et al., 1991; Khripach et al., 1999; Sa Kutar et al., 1999). Recent metabolic studies of brassinolide, in particular the metabolism of 24-epi-brassinolide, have shown that in all types of intact plants and cultured cells, metabolic pathways are usually the first in the C-2, C-3 and C-23, followed by enzymatic hydroxylation at C-25, C-26 to form compounds (2) and (3) (Figure 1)
